Jam Band | Fall 2026 🎸🥁🎶

Ready to make music with a band? Jam Band gives young musicians ages 8–18 the opportunity to play together, build confidence, and experience what it’s like to be part of a group! Students will work on two songs throughout the session while learning different parts of band and song structure, with opportunities to explore instruments beyond their primary instrument.

Jam Band meets Wednesdays from 6:30–7:30 PM, October 7–December 16 at The Staff Studio, with one week off to be announced. Students should have at least one year of experience on their instrument unless they are a current Staff Studio student and have received instructor approval. The session will wrap up with a performance at our Instrumental Recital on December 19 at 10:00 AM at The Indiana Theater, with a tentative dress rehearsal on December 16.

Tuition: $110 for current Staff Studio private lesson students | $125 for all other students

@Home Project | Fall 2026

Learning is even more fun when it’s creative! 🎶🎨 The @Home Project, a collaboration between Maestro Minds and The Staff Studio, gives homeschool and cyberschool students a welcoming, hands-on place to explore music and art, learn new skills, make friends, and build confidence.

This fall, students can choose from Choir, Beginner Band, Strings, and Drawing, with classes available for a variety of ages and experience levels.

Whether your student loves to sing, wants to try an instrument, or enjoys creating art, there’s an opportunity for them to learn and grow alongside other students.

At the end of the 12-week session, families will be invited to a special Concert & Art Show to celebrate everything the students have learned and created together!

Register for the @Home Project

Evening Art Classes

Join us this fall for Evening Art Classes at The Staff Studio! Classes run every Thursday from September 17 through December 10, with two classes designed to meet young artists wherever they are in their creative journey.

Our Step by Step class (ages 5–10, 5:45–6:30 PM) introduces students to a variety of mediums and techniques through hands-on projects. Over the course of the season, students will spend four weeks each exploring still life drawing, cartooning, and fiber arts — building foundational skills while having fun along the way.

For older students, our Coaching class (ages 10+, 6:45–7:30 PM) offers a more personalized approach. Students choose their own media and/or subject matter and receive individualized guidance to help them grow as artists, whether they're refining existing skills or exploring something entirely new.
